Contacting the practice

Email links open your own email app. Your email provider handles the message once you choose to send it.

Please use email for scheduling and general enquiries. Do not include sensitive health information or urgent requests.

Website contact form

The contact form sends your name, email address and message to the practice inbox through Resend. A separate notification goes to the counsellor’s personal email without your name, email address or message. Please use this form for brief appointment and general enquiries, not health information or urgent requests.

Resend processes email delivery data in the United States and retains email and log data for 30 days. See Resend’s data-handling information. This website does not keep a database copy of your name, email or message. It keeps temporary, hashed request information and submission counters to prevent spam. A private practice dashboard also records submission times and email-send results, without names, email addresses or message contents, to check that the form is operating.

Using the Jane client portal

Links labelled Jane or client portal take you to In-sight Counselling Services on janeapp.com. Signing in and using appointment features happens on Jane’s platform. Information you enter there is handled separately from this website.

Review Jane’s privacy notice for information about its platform. The practice’s counselling consent and confidentiality arrangements are discussed with you before treatment.

Practice administration

The staff admin center uses ChatGPT sign-in and is restricted to approved practice accounts. It uses the signed-in account identity to check access and record checklist updates. It does not display clinical records or inbox contents.

Browsing this website

This website uses its own limited analytics to understand how its public information pages are used. It counts page views, approximate visits, screen-size categories, referral categories and clicks on contact, consultation, phone, email and Jane links. Screen sizes are grouped by browser-window width and do not identify a particular device. Active time and scrolling provide estimates of engagement, not proof that someone read a page.

Where available, the hosting provider supplies an approximate country and province or region based on the internet connection. We do not request your device’s location or store city, street address, precise coordinates, raw IP addresses or raw browser identifiers in the analytics database. Small geographic groups are withheld from reports. A phone, email or Jane click does not establish that a call, message or appointment was completed.

The analytics database keeps daily totals. It does not keep individual browsing histories, contact-form contents, names, email addresses, ages, genders or health information, and it is not linked to client records in Jane. No advertising pixels, session recordings or third-party analytics service are added.

Visits are approximate: a browser tab starts a new visit after 30 minutes without activity. A temporary timestamp in session storage supports that count; it does not identify you across devices. Random per-event values help prevent duplicate counts. Only their hashes are retained temporarily to reject duplicate events for up to 24 hours, then removed during routine site activity. Reports cover up to 90 days; older totals are excluded and removed during routine activity.

Statistics are visible only to approved practice administrators. A preference cookie excludes a staff browser after admin sign-in for up to one year. A visitor’s choice to turn statistics off is stored locally in that browser. We also respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Privacy, urgent-support and accessibility pages, staff pages and sign-in pages are excluded from visitor measurement.

The hosting provider may still process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the site. This operational processing is separate from the aggregate reports described above.
