If worry, school pressure or changing relationships are getting difficult, we can talk about what matters to you and what you would like help with.
Will you tell my parents?Addiction counselling for adults
A respectful conversation about substance use, patterns you want to change and steps towards your own recovery goals.
ICBC-related counselling
Support with the emotional impact of a motor vehicle accident. Direct billing is available for eligible, approved counselling sessions.
Immigration and belonging
Room for cultural expectations, changing family roles, identity and the experience of building a life in a new place.
Neurodivergence, giftedness and learning differences
Your strengths and support needs may not be obvious to other people. Counselling can focus on what is difficult now: anxiety, self-criticism, relationships, feeling misunderstood or managing everyday demands.
ADHD, dyslexia and other learning disabilities can be part of that conversation. So can giftedness, including profound giftedness, or being twice-exceptional (2e): gifted with a coexisting disability. Your strengths and support needs both deserve attention.
The introductory consultation helps us discuss whether this practice is a suitable fit. Diagnostic, giftedness and psychoeducational assessments are separate services; they are not offered here.
What makes a conversation easier for you?
You can ask about adjustments such as:
- Time to think before answering, or a slower pace.
- Bringing a few written notes instead of explaining everything from memory.
- Clearer questions, an agreed focus or a short pause.
We can discuss what is workable together. You do not need to share a diagnosis to ask.
